Beautiful Scent- no staying power

I so wish I could give this 5 stars because the smell is to die for. It's such a beautiful scent, I kept sniffing my wrist I could not get enough!! BUT three short hours later and the scent was pretty much gone (I even asked a friend to check in case I had just gotten desensitized to it and she agreed it was gone) sooo not worth the steep price tag considering how quickly the scent disappears.

herbal rose scent

This is a unique herbal smelling rose perfume. It’s got the smell of freshly cut roses as the top note with hints of incense and some green notes. I smell an aquatic note in it as well which I don’t prefer so I probably won’t buy a full size, but it’s still a great perfume. Vanille Insensee is still my all time favorite from Atelier.

A stand out rose oud

I discovered oud fragrances on a trip to Lebanon in 2016 and bought this as soon as I got home. The oud is much lighter than the intense Arabian ouds I sampled on my trip and the rose notes make it more feminine. It does have a spiciness to it but it's not overpowering. This lasts all day on me and has nice sillage. I definitely recommend this as a beginners oud and for those looking for something more exotic than the light fruity florals that are everywhere now.

I have the scent Santal Carmen and it is the most invigorating and addicting scent that you will never get sick of. highly recommend this scent and brand

I absolutely love this fragrance. I was looking for something a little more musky yet still feminine and floral for the winter, and I found it in this perfume. It’s so addictive and could work as a unisex fragrance. It does fade after a couple of hours but I haven’t found another scent like it. ALSO if you own one of the citrus fragrances from Atelier Cologne, do yourself a favor and layer them with this. I also have orange sanguine and the two mixed together create an amazing smell that I feel I will be using as a transitional fragrance in the fall and spring before switching to orange in the summer. Highly HIGHLY recommend.

The best, most unique rose scent at Sephora

A quality rose scent not for the faint of heart. If you want a fresh rose, this is not it. If you want a jammy rose, this is not it This is a rose with ginger, woods and spice. It's deep, romantic, sensual without being desperate. For those who enjoy traditional rose-ouf combinations, this is a lighter, brighter,day time version of those scents. So freaking good, it's niche quality without being over priced. I get lots of compliments. I also bought the shower gel and body lotion lol. I wish it came in a bigger size. I will forever repurchase.

Surprise, surprise

I watched a Sephora video regarding recommended fragrances to try. I ordered it online and was pleasantly surprised that I actually enjoyed it. I am normally not a fan of fragrances with rose notes, but this one is a great addition to my rotation. I receive a lot of compliments.

50/50 But the Scent is FABULOUS!

So this review will be confusing. First, this is one of the most spectacular scents I have ever smelled. It is so unique - it is a 50/50 combo of masculine/feminine. Spicy, fresh, warm, with a hint of rose. I gave it 3 stars because it doesn't last on me. I spray it on and a few hours later, I feel like it's gone. For $150.00, I need it to last longer on the skin. Maybe that's why it comes in a 3.3 oz and not a 1 oz. because they know you'll have to keep applying. IDK. Anyway - the fragrance is fantastic. They staying power - not so much. The price too high.

give it a minute

When you first spray it, it is an over powering smell! But give it a few minutes and it's so lovely. It's not super floral and sweet. Kind of musky and a good rose scent. I absolutely LOVE this. I don't think Atelier can do wrong though.

Obsessed

I love this fragrance! It is rose with a masculine twist that makes it unexpected and edgy. It's reminiscent of old word speak easy or maybe rat pack era.

I smell no rose

The description of this cologne is absolutely enchanting, and I couldn't wait to try it. I am not sure if it is my body chemistry, or the cologne, but all I seem to smell is the oud. It is too sharp, there is no spicy, incense smell on me at all. Just an overpowering strong scent. Not what I was looking for at all. There is no smell of roses at all.

OK, but no "rose"

Decided to try this fragrance because I love Atelier's citrus scents. No hint of roses, that I could detect. After wearing it a few hours, the bloom was more redolent of a nice men's cologne than a woman's floral. Others may find it intriguing (as in the other reviews) but if you're looking for feminine and floral, this is not for you.
