I bought the wrong color for my skin but I will say that if you want “new skin” this is for you. It is FULL coverage without a doubt and creates a perfect blank canvas for a more glam/nighttime look. The texture is very buttery and thick so a little goes a long way.

This is the first time I’m writing a review for a product, since I love this foundation but so less reviews you can find about this product outside, so I’m super worry that Estée Lauder would consider discontinue this . PLEASE DONT DO THAT! I couldn’t believe that there can be a foundation that is both light and high-coverage, but this one is! It last for whole day without darkening your skin tone. The only downside is that this is pretty dry for my dry skin. I usually mix it with 1-2 drops of my facial oil, and spend more time blending it on my skin using beauty blender. Once this is done, you can rely on it for whole day without worrying losing that coverage.

Don’t rely on foundation finder tool. Drying

I used foundation finder on Sephora web site and order the perfectly matched color to the foundation I am currently using. The color was way to dark and it was drying. It showed my wrinkles, too. Returning.

Cystic acne breakouts!

If you have even have the slightest acne prone skin I would stay far away from this foundation. This liquid makeup has RUINED MY FACE. It made me break out so bad with cystic acne along with tons of whiteheads and red bumps. At first I couldn't tell what it was because it didn't make me break out right away. It took about a week for everything to start really coming out. Now I have so many scars and have had the HARDEST TIME trying to regain control of my face. It's so depressing. This also makes me super oily! Within two hours this makeup could slide right off my face onto a napkin lol. it is extremely full coverage, which is cool for people that don't break out I guess. But it is so not worth it. It also is so dry. It goes on super matte(which usually like) but then I get oily so... After I stopped using this makeup, it took about a week for my face to somewhat calm down. I finally switched to a light/medium coverage powder foundation that is doing wonders for my skin. It's finally clearing up and I don't get as oily anymore! My scars will eventually fade. I recommend Cover Fx mineral powder. My skin is looking a lot healthier.

pass on this

this foundation is nothing like the original double wear. it is much more fluid and feels slightly powdery when applied. it sinks into and highlights pores especially on the nose area, and somehow makes me look shiny after a while even though I have dry skin. it also transfers so much. skip this and just go for the original double wear.

Grandma’s Funeral Proof

I’m writing this review as a way to bring some light hearted humor to my grandmothers otherwise heartbreaking funeral. Southern girl here, with all the stereotypes attached. In preparation for the funeral I had quickly tanned myself into a red lobster. I put on the foundation over a layer of lotion, and nothing on top (no bake no setting spray) the foundation covered every bit of redness, good start. Once seated at the viewing a woman behind us wailed off key to a hymnal clearly wanting to be heard (it was not a joyful noise). I had to bury my face in my bf’s shirt so I wouldn’t be seen giggling. Not one smudge on his black shirt. Once at the burial ground my aunts and I had became inconsolable crying. The heat climbed to 104. I wasn’t worried about my appearance by this point sweat and tears mixed all over my face as I rubbed them away. I went to bed that night very sad without removing my makeup, when I woke up this morning this foundation was still in place, hanging in there. Thank you Estée Lauder.

ABSOLUTE BEST

This the best foundation on the market. You use very little and it lasts forever. I have rosacea and am very self conscious of my complexion so I never leave the house without makeup on and this does it all. Covers, conceals, lasts and has the prettiest over color. My favorite.

If you want full coverage try this

Best coverage ever. I've tried most foundations out there that claim to be full coverage. This one is the best. it's better then the double wear in the glass bottle IMO. A little goes a long way with this one so you dont need much. I have discolorations and old acne scars and it covers it all. I set with Laura Mercier translucent powder. I use it with a beauty blender. Love Love Love

Don’t waste your money

Makes my face look CRAZY oily, makes my pores more defined and black looking, and separates making my skin look patchy. So disappointed:-(

Woooo... Talk about maximum coverage. Yassss hunny. Only problem for me is that it’s so matte it’s cakey looking. I have to mix it with something else to give it a more natural finish. This foundation is a savior for me on bad skin days, though. I like my lighter coverage formulas, but I still wouldn’t be without this. PS: They do need a wider range of shades.

I have tried EVERY foundation out there. I have very red cheeks and occasional acne and some scaring. This makeup is hands down the absolute best full coverage makeup available. I have researched full coverage makeup , Kat Von D and All nighter were suggested. They are great, but they can’t compare to Estes’s full coverage. This is my must have foundation. It’s a little pricey at 42 bucks , but worth every penny. Give it a try and you will be so impressed! Not for those who like a natural, light foundation.

Not for me

I really wanted to like this foundation but it just wasn’t for me. The coverage is by far the best, I have acne scars and it did a great job at covering them up. A little foundation goes a long way but it dried up so fast. As soon as I placed a drop on my face it would start to dry up. I used a damp beauty blender and a brush to blend it out but I could not for the life of me get the foundation to look smooth and non patchy.
