Loveshine Candy Glow - Tinted Butter Balm

Not moisturizing

I received a mini of this as a sample and it was very disappointing. The scent is nice, reminds me of bubblegum. The color payoff is sheer but noticeable; only a few swipes gives a noticeable pop of color. The formula itself wasn’t moisturizing and felt gritty on my lips while also leaving a strange waxy texture. There are much better tinted balms out there. While I do like the scent and the color, the formula is just not it.

LIFE CHANGING

Life changing!!! I honestly can’t say enough good things about this product—it has completely transformed my makeup routine! The scent is amazing and so addictive. SUCH a luxurious experience. The texture is UNREAL—it’s so smooth and buttery and soft. The packaging is STUNNING i’m so obsessed I take it with me literally everywhere

Dewy finish

Lovely lipstick that hydrates your lips to give a dewy finish as well as looking fresh with the sheer colour. Easy to apply anywhere.

Beautiful Product!

I received this on a spend x and receive this lip balm promo. I wasn’t sure what to expect from a lip balm with colour and how it would differ from a lipstick. It’s gorgeous though. Just like your favourite chapstick but with a beautiful touch of pink. This has immediately become my daily wear-er. I love it so much that my teen went out and bought the full size as part of my Christmas gift this year. Worth the money imo.

Worst Balm

Honestly just bought it cause it is YSL but it's literally the worst balm I've used. Smells horrible and it broke after only 3 usages. Color is not that good either, and it feels so dry.

Disappointing if you love other YSL lip products

I hate this. I’m sorry. It’s waxy. It’s not moisturizing. If you love the candy glaze or love shine, skip this. I feel bad returning things so this is going in my work bag as a backup/“meh” product. Utterly forgettable.

This isn't a balm. It looks and feels like opaque lipstick. The consistency is ok. The color was far too warm against my light neutral-leaning-cool skin. It reads as salmon. Be warned

My new fave!

YSL lippies are my hands down favorite. They feel amazing, give a nice plump, and the shades are gorgeous. Pink sunrise is perfection and my new fave. I got the Nude Lavalliere too…a perfect darker richer pink. Love 💕

Meh. I like the color and it feels nice but it is nothing special. Not worth the price. I much prefer the YSI loveshine

Worth it!

I absolutely love this. Not a lipstick person and this gives my look the final finish it needs.

I love this sheer lip color! It’s such a great hue and makes my lips so soft! Also the packaging is gorgeous and very high end.

turns dark pink

This reminds me of the old YSL Volupte Sheer Candy, similar to the Cool Guava and Raspberry shades.They both smelled like grapefruit as does this new version now called Candy Glow Balm. The Pink Sunrise shade that i bought seemed pretty enough in the store but is turning much pinker than I like on my lips so I will probably return it. It does have a nice buttery, non sticky feel, but the colour is too Barbie for me.
