Used to be the best

This used to be my go to. I still think has the best brush, especially the shape makes it easy to get both the upper and lower lashes and spot define. However, the last one I purchased in November seems like they may have changed their formula. The old formula was buildable and never clumpy. It was perfection, but now it is super goopy and clumpy makes lashes like spider legs and the brush does not even help much due the change in formula. So sad, I will now be on the hunt for a new mascara after using this for years.

Solid Lancôme product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I typically like Lancôme products, and the idole mascara was no different. I liked that the product was volumizing and lengthening, but the longevity of the lash length and mascara wear could be improved.

Natural look

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product did a good job of separating out my lashes, however I found it difficult to easily build up the product on my lashes. I think it would be great for a lighter look. It kept the curl in my lashes and lengthened them as well!

Great brown shade

I love YSL but I was looking for something a bit more natural for every day and this one is perfect. One side creates volume and the other lengthens. It took me a few times to adjust but now I love it

best mascara i have ever tried. i got the brown and it is a true brown. it applies super smoothly without leaving any clumps and lasts throughout the day. i love it

Lengthening (but no curl)

My initial reaction to the branding of this product was that the tube felt much cheaper than it looked. I would describe this mascara as buildable and able to adapt to the style you’re looking for. For a very natural look, just one or two coats will do. But if I curl my lashes, use a volumizing primer, and then this mascara, my lashes look amazing! It does well at lengthening as described but the wand does not curl my uber straight lashes at all. Prepping my lashes beforehand ensures that they are ready to take on the length that this mascara provides.

My favorite mascara looks so natural!!! And makes them so full!!

Love this mascara

Every day use, less bold.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this mascara! However it does not gove a ton of volume. It's mostly length that it gives. But due to this, it looks more natural instead of bold. So it's perfect for every day use. I was excited to try the brown but it didn't really make a difference in my opinion and somehow still looked black. But overall, it's a nice mascara.

I can’t love this anymore!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You want your mascara to do a lot of things… plump, curl, volumize, lengthen. To me, the most important things are for it to lift and lengthen and this mascara DELIVERS. I love how this pushes my lashes up, separates them and makes them feel super long. With a few coats I’m even getting some volume. This doesn’t flake off during the day, it’s not super hard to remove and the brown is the perfect color when I want to be a little more casual. I will definitely be purchasing in the future!
