The only foundation I use with sensitive skin

I have very sensitive and dry skin with redness and this foundation is the only one I use! it works especially well when I use The Ordinary hyaluronic acid and Belif moisturizer first.

Not for Hot Summer

Very light coverage and that's a minus too because it comes off easily when you're sweating like I did in Texas🥵

Best for very oily skin in humid climates

I used to have oily acne prone skin but now I take hormonal acne medication and live in a dry arid mountain climate so my skin leans more normal/dry. This foundation unfortunately is best suited for very oily skin as it is hard to blend, dries quickly, settles in the few fine lines I do have at 28, and cakes up on my shallow acne scars. I will say the finish is nice, not too matte but not too dewy. The coverage and shade range are wonderful, it didn't oxidize on me, and it doesn't break me out, but I do think this makes my not perfect skin texture look worse :( I wore it in Spain and it does very well in humid hot beach climates so there's that.

My Number 1 Foundation for YEARS

Honestly surprised this doesn’t have more stars. I’ve been using this foundation everyday for YEARS and it’s the best. I wear makeup everyday and this doesn’t bother my skin. It’s also easily buildable if you want more coverage.

I’m obsessed. This is a great foundation for dry skin.

It oxidized a LOT, but that might just be me

The color I used is 13N (ignore the 44S if that shows; the color IQ thing was wrong in-store). Probably oxidized due to me having stuff underneath. It’s too dark for me but I think I just found my vacation makeup since I tan easily. It’s lightweight while still covering and it’s not too drying (in fact I look quite dewy, a feat in itself. It also smells good, like almonds.

An unfortunate misstep

Wearing it feels unpleasant on my skin, settles into fine lines, and does not blend well into skin tone, despite multiple application techniques (fingers, brush, sponge). And made my sensitive skin break out.

Mixed feelings

I've been using this for a few years, I order off their website usually and I just haven't got around to possibly finding a new foundation. I have mixed feelings. I like it but it makes me breakout. And if I don't take it off at night, the next day it is horrendous looking. I swear It makes my skin dry and peel, but it feels oily in a way. It also very much clogs pores and creases. I like how it looks with a powder foundation over it, but not by itself. I like the color, it matches pretty well. It feels kinda heavy going on but smooth, if that makes any sense

Best Daily Foundation!

This is my favorite. I love the Tarte foundation and products, but felt one foundation was too light and is great for a quick summer foundation, but not daily at work and the other is very thick. This one is perfect.
