My holy grail primer!

I had used this primer previously and absolutely loved it. I decided to try out some other brands but ultimately came back to this one. It's like my holy grail primer. My foundation glides on and blends perfectly. Even if I'm not wearing makeup, I'll put a little bit on after my moisturizer just to look a bit more put together. It's definitely a staple in my makeup collection.

Disappointing formula change

This was one of my favorite products, but the formula has been changed. I noticed the packaging is different. It used to be thicker and fill in my pores instantly. Now it is thin and oily. It feels greasy on the face and doesn’t fill in pores nearly as well. Disappointing.

I don’t love the consistency of this and even just swatching it on the back of my hand, I can tell how bad it will pill. Once I actually try it on my face, it definitely is smoothing and blurring, however as soon as I add a foundation or complexion product on top, if I’m not careful or I blend too much, the primer will pill and ball up, completely taking away the point of using this product to begin with. I didn’t bother to finish this product and will not repurch

not bad

does it make my pores disappear? nah, not really. but it does provide a super soft and velvety layer for makeup to be applied to. I am obsessed with the way this products feels on my skin and it blurs my skin a bit while covering up some of my pores- but I do have a lot so that may just be me. if you are a full-beat type of girl, this product (I think) can make an excellent base for a matte makeup look. I don't see myself buying this again since I do not go to it often, but it feels luxurious whenever I do have it on.

works great on oily skin

I bought this primer and I really liked it, a small amount is enough to cover the skin of the face and it instantly becomes matte and smooth. I would recommend it to those who have really oily skin, but not dry

not worth the hype

I was extremely underwhelmed with this product. I've used the smashbox pore minimizing primer for ages and wanted to try this because everyone raves about it. IME it did not cover texture or shine the way other products I have used do and is not worth the price.
