Fun, light berry/floral

I am completely obsessed with this perfume! It is my go to signature scent, a light floral that is heavy on the sweet berry notes. I get compliments every time so wear it out, and it is the first I look for when Getting ready in the morning. I adore the entire Burberry line, but this one is my #1!

Smells like strawberries 🍓

it smells heavenly , so sweet and so good, light, sexy, feminine scent . but the only downfall is that it doesn’t really last long, but great for everyday.

Immediate buyers remorse

I bought this fragrance blindly during the holiday sale and I have to admit I was influenced by social media and I feel led astray. Unfortunately, Burberry Her Elixir did not live up to my expectations that it would smell like a "strawberry milkshake" or "strawberries and cream" as so many people were raving on social media. This fragrance to me is sickeningly sweet and very artificial smelling. After purchasing online I smelled this fragrance at 3 different locations for 3 days in a row with the first time being the absolute worst and the other 2 progressively less "bad" for lack of a better word. I found the initial spray of this fragrance offensive and so heavy I could've choked on it, the only time it was tolerable was when I smelled it dried down hours later or even better a full day later. I really tried to convince myself I could keep this and learn to love it but I just cant. The original Burberry Her smells much better than the Elixir but has terrible lasting power, it almost disappears as soon as it dries down. I understand everyone likes different things and everyone's body chemistry is different so I advise if you are thinking about getting this fragrance smell it in person first, and I would advise not getting it for someone as a gift unless they explicitly ask or already like it. I could not believe what I was smelling coming from this fragrance especially for the price of it. This would have been my first Burberry fragrance in my collection but I am thoroughly disappointed.

Love how this perfume smells when sprayed out of the bottle, on myself however, not so much….. It could be my chemistry but the dry down on this was not it. After the initial dry down, I could not stand the smell on me anymore. Also I don’t feel like it lasted as long on me. It didn’t project that much either.

Great, but not for me

I wanted to love this perfume, but it almost smelled too sweet on me that it didn’t fit for what I was going for. I have smelled this on other people which is why I ended up getting it, but not for me.
