A must have

This inky list barrier serum is so good and hydrating. I use it every morning and I have seen such a huge difference in my skin. It is good for sensitive skin and hasn’t caused any irritation whatsoever.

Brighten up

I like the consistency. It’s not too thick or thin, I use it am:pm as part of my skincare routine,

New formula is yucky

My favorite, go-to vitamin C product! Odorless, smooth under make-up, non-irritating. Purchased a bottle in September and it smells horrible! Weird color in my hands (usually it’s clear) so I took it back and exchanged it (making sure it was a different lot number). This time I put it on my face before checking it (assuming the last bottle was rotten). OMG! It had the same horrible smell, color and burned my skin! I just returned it. Sadly Algenist stopped making my other favorite Vitamin C serum. Looks like I’m back at square one!

Didn’t notice a difference

I would use this as instructed but didn’t see Much difference as other vitamins C serums I’ve used in the past.

Great Staple Preventative Serum

Vitamin C is a hard one to review because, for me, it's largely preventative. Much like eating enough fiber, vitamin c is something I don't notice until I stop using it. I don't have much discoloration or spots to fade. When I do get the occasional hormonal acne, I notice this serum helps fade the mark it usually leave behind. It's caused no irritation and my skin can be sensitive. The smell is, not bad but not great. Luckily is fades fast. It can feel a wee bit tacky and I feel like when it dries it's a little sticky, but not noticeable after sunscreen. For the price, I'll definitely repurchase. Again, I see this more as a preventative product so as long as I don't see any new lines, spots, or dullness to my 34 year old skin, I'm figuring it's working.

I like it ok. The consistency isn't great. It is kind of watery. I haven't seen a great difference but giving it more time.

Not for me. Made me breakout

At first, it was so far so good. Then I started breaking out. I removed this from my routine, kept everything else the same and my breakouts went away. Maybe Vitamin C is too much for me? idk.

This is the most underrated serum of its kind. I'm not a fan of vitamin C serums with AHAs. EGF an ingredient is unique and definitely a better alternative.

brightens skin

my skin was feeling very dull & just felt meh. i started using this along with a new toner & WOW never have been confident in my skin. i’ve been getting a lot of compliments on my skin since using this i also have very sensitive skin & this doesn’t irate it at alll

After using this product for a few weeks, my skin is glowy and hydrated. No breakouts or irritation. Love that it is very affordable.
