Hydro Rush Intense Moisture Shampoo with Hyaluronic Acid

Dried out my hair

I used a sample of the shampoo and conditioner and it completely dried out my hair. I have naturally wavy coarse hair and the results afterwards shocked me. My hair felt very waxy and brittle and I was surprised that a hydrating shampoo and conditioner left my hair feeling like straw.

This product is so good makes make hair feel/look so healthy and it smells so good I 10/10 recommend ever since I bought this it has been my go to shampoo

A matted mess

I have very thick and curly 4a type hair and this shampoo made my hair EXTREMELY dry and matted up IMMEDIATELY after washing it, and I used it twice just to be sure . For a product to be marketed towards curly and coily hair and claim to have all of this moisture it was literally the complete opposite. My hair shed so much as I was trying to get the knots out even while applying my deep conditioner. It smells good but that's about it. I only purchased it because I do actually like the Soul Food hair mask so I figured I would give an Amika shampoo a shot but this was a total fail. My hair was literally in tangled up knots after washing it. Thankfully I'm still within the 60 days because it's going back tomorrow and I'm sticking to Pattern hydrating shampoo.

Great shampoo

After thorough research, glad to comment that this shampoo did not disappoint, indeed it works wonderfully on my high porosity coils, and The Hydration is top tier

As someone who has been suffering from an itchy dry scalp this shampoo helped so much and right away from the first wash. I love using it, the smell is gentle and hardly there, and its not harsh on the hair at all. Would highly recommend!

made my hair dehydrated

This shampoo made my hair really dry. I have curly hair that is in need of hydration, and as I was washing it in the shower I realized how dry it was make my my hair as the shampoo was washing off. I continued to use it for a couple of weeks, and I noticed a lot of breakage and shedding.

It’s Okay

This shampoo is fine I guess, (lots of slip/suds, non-stripping), but I definitely won’t be buying this again as the matching conditioner doesn’t smell good at all.

Wouldn’t recommend

My hair is dry, wavy and fine and this shampoo really weighed down my hair when using the Amika intense moisture conditioner

Not for everyone

I ordered the set for this line despite reading the negative reviews, unfortunately after the first wash it did leave my hair feeling weighed down and knotty. Although I may have sprayed too much of the leave in. It is very hydrating and would probably work for some people. Maybe if you have very damaged hair from bleaching, etc. snd and hydsrtinftthoyghand

terrible shampoo my hair became more dry after using this . the only thing I love by this line is their overnight dream routine mask. there are much better and cheaper shampoos out there

Must have for bleached blonde

This shampoo is amazing. I have icy bleached blonde hair and it gives it the moisture that I need.

Works wonders

I have long type 4 hair wasn’t sure this would work for me but it works wonders. It doesn’t take much for it lather even with product build up. It’s light, gentle and hydrating.
