GRO Hair Foam for Thinning Hair

Great volume

The colourways and font are understated and classy. The foam is a little hit and miss when dispensing. Sometimes it can foam fully, others it can be very watery despite shaking beforehand. It has a pleasant, fresh scent that isn’t overpowering. The instructions say to apply directly to scalp but this is difficult as the nozzle is too wide so has to be done from hand as oppose to directly from bottle. Would be useful if there was a narrow long nozzle so you could apply to parted sections directly from can. I am normally very reluctant to use any product on my hair as it is so thin, it can make it look greasy and stringy very easily. I was pleasantly surprised with this as it didn’t affect the finish of my hair at all. I definitely noticed instant volume which is also a rarity for me and my hair type. It lasted for a good portion of the day too which I was really pleased with. I can’t speak to increased appearance of hair density but, the guidance says between 90 to 120 days so I wouldn’t expect to see results in that regard after only a couple of weeks of a trial. I noticed hair shedding was decreased which I normally suffer badly with so was pleased with this aspect. Overall, I enjoyed the product but don’t feel I can comment fully on full spectrum of results in terms of hair density as the bottle was too small. I’m not sure how much longer it will last either so doubt I will have enough to trial it for the recommended 90-120 days. Given this, I’d say the rrp is a little on the high side as you’ve not had the opportunity to have tried and tested results before you’d have to buy another bottle to get to the 120 days usage. That said, I’d be very hopeful that the product would deliver on density, given the great results I saw with volume and body. I look coward to trying more products from the brand and am ready to Gro!

Disappointing product

I was excited to receive this product to test, however, I have to admit that it was disappointing. I liked the packaging but the small bottle is definitely not enough to see the results. After using it regularly for 2 weeks ny hair was exactly the same as before, still experiencing a lot of hair loss. It didn’t my hair feel worse or weird in any way but also didn’t improve it. For the high price of the product I would not purchase it and would not recommend it to anyone else.

No difference in hair volume

I love the packaging and how easy is to dispense the product. Love the foaming texture, it’s so lightweight and doesn’t weight hair down, doesn’t make hair greasy or sticky. It smells lovely, not overpowering yet so pleasant and refreshing. Unfortunately it doesn’t give any volume or body to my hair roots. I can’t comment on hair growing healthier as it may take long term to see results. It is lightweight and leaves hair shiner and soft. But no difference in volume or root boosting

I like it, but needs longer use for full results

It is easy product to incorporate into my daily hair care routine. A foam is very light in texture simple to apply and it doesn’t leave any residue or stickiness, allowing me to style my hair as usual without any inconvenience. Foam was gentle on my scalp, causing no irritation or discomfort.  Since using this product I have noticed volumizing and a bit fuller hair effect. To actually see the full results I feel like it needs continues and consistent use. I wish it could’ve been more than 31g of product because I think it’s really good product for thinning hair.

Not for me

I was sent this to try in return for my honest review by Sephora community and I'm quite disappointed. The container is so small, there's not really enough in it to give a proper review, as it says it takes roughly three months to see significant results, and it needs to be used daily. It can be applied to dry or damp hair, which is good, but, as it's a foam, not a serum, it doesn't just go on the scalp, most of it ends up on the hair itself, so defeats the purpose. It didn't give my hair volume at all, and didn't give the impression of, thicker, fuller, longer looking hair as promised. It's also very expensive for such a small amount. Not suitable for me at all.

Nice but pricey

Vegamour hair foam promises to provide instant texture and volume to give thicker, fuller and longer looking hair. The texture is thick and bouncy like a typical hair mousse and I would describe it as a mousse as opposed to a foam. It has a citrus scent, it's quite pleasant and not overpowering at all. It applies nicely to the hair and most importantly doesn't weigh hair down which is amazing! It does provide nice volume to fine hair and hair feels lightweight and soft too. It's formulated with phytoactives that "deeply penetrate the scalp to support visibly thicker, fuller-looking hair", the highlighted ingredients are turmeric, N. benthamiana and red clover/mung bean. This is clinically tested and clinically proven to show visible results within 3 months, I've only had a tester size so cannot attest to this but given the quality ingredients I would say it's probably true. Overall, this is a nice mousse but it is just hugely expensive and I believe there are much more affordable options out there that can help you achieve fuller, more voluminous hair without the huge price tag. In saying that, it is a very luxurious product from a trusted brand so if you want a luxe hair product then it would be a nice one to try.

Interesting brand, nice hair foam.

If I could give 3.5/5 stars I would have * This product by vegamour promises to ‘restore, retain, & renew’ via its hair-loving ingredients and actives. These elements also promise to be vegan, hormone-free, and colour safe. After using this product for 2 weeks, it is difficult to notice any longer term benefits of using this foam, however I can comment on its direct benefits after multiple one-time uses. I have enjoyed using this product before styling my hair straight, and in my wavy hair before leaving to dry naturally. When used before styling, I applied to 70% dry hair and blow dried in- I found the foam light & non greasy. I wouldn’t say it holds the style & you do still require hairspray for longevity of the style- however I did notice a slight increase in how thick my hair felt and looked. I feel you could apply up to roots (to get the scalp care benefits) without worrying that the dry hair will look greasy. When used on my wavy hair without other styling- i noticed a more consistent wave pattern and less frizz. . I think however you do not get a lot of product for the high price range, and you’d have to continually repurchase before seeing all of the promised long term results. This product smells very light and somewhat 🍊 citrusy, this lovely scent does linger in the hair after styling! I probably wouldn’t purchase in the future. But I’d be inclined to try more products from the brand due to their good values (cruelty-free). I kindly received this product from the sephora community team in exchange for my review. Vegamour Gro Foam

I am a member of the Sephora UK Community and was fortunate to be selected to test and review this Vegamour Gro Hair Foam. I am 49 and going through perimenopause. Over the last few years I have noticed my hair has become thinner especially at the sides and my hair line has receded a bit. The Sephora Community asks us to review our products within 14 days of receiving them so of course I cannot comment on any hair regrowth yet, I think this will take 6 weeks or more. What I can say is that this product is an absolute delight to use. I have used a scalp serum in the past but found it fiddly sectioning my hair, and using the pipette to get the serum evenly all over my scalp. Because this is a foam/mousse it covers a larger area much more quickly and with less effort. It does not make my roots oily which is the last thing you want if your hair is thin, quite the opposite it gives them a lift and a bit of body. I love this product and if in more time I see hair regrowth I will definitely purchase it because it’s so easy to use.

Smells nice

I received Vegamour GRO hair foam as a member of the Sephora Community to test and review. Vegamour hair foam comes in a 31g light pink can. The white coloured foam has a citrus scent, which is quite nice. I have been using this foam for about a week now and I only need one pump of foam for my hair. I found the foam easy to apply and absorbed quite well too. I styled my hair as usual and after using for a week I haven't really noticed any difference yet. I think its too early to notice any difference so I will continue to use regularly.

Nice volume added

I have been gifted this foam to test. I have long, thin coloured hair, quite often after washing my hair they are flat. I used different brand previously to help me to achieve more lifted effect at the roots but the texture was horrible. With this brand I actually really enjoyed it the fragrance is OK there is no crunchy or greasy feeling on your hair left after applying it. I have used it on towel dried hair and then blow dried it and it gave the volume nad the lift and you couldn't feel or notice that you had anything applied to your hair no residue no weird feeling. I would recommend it and I found the product do work as described, I have 4 stars as the price for so small amount of product is a bit too high in my opinion

Good amount of volume

I was really looking forward to trying this hair foam because I’ve heard such amazing things about the Vegamour brand. My hair can look a bit flat and lifeless so I need to add volume at the roots and this hair foam does just that. I like to add a pump or two of product to my towel dried hair and gently rub it into the roots before blow drying and I find that it definitely gives me a good boost of volume. It does not weigh my hair down or make it look or feel greasy or crunchy. In fact, once blow dried the product is completely undetectable. I think that the amount of product you get is a little on the small side, but I don’t need very much so a little goes a long way. I quite like the travel friendly size of the can and the powder pink packaging is very cute. The product has a lovely citrus fragrance to it when you dispense it but this is not noticeable in my hair once dried. Overall, I like this hair foam and would repurchase it.

Very good

I was very blessed to try out the VEGAMOUR GRO Hair Foam for Thinning Hair, and there's definitely a Noticeable difference in short amount of time! But my point of view is only about the size of the product, which make it a little pricey.
