Beautiful finish but irritating fragrance

This is a beautiful, hydrating foundation that wears well on dry skin. The thing that keeps me from wearing it is the very strong fragrance (which is to be expected with luxury foundations). The fragrance can irritate my sensitive skin and sometimes gives me a headache. If it didn't have the fragrance this would be 10/10.

Almost Perfect: Amazing Foundation with One Caveat

This is one of the best foundations I've ever used. Looks absolutely amazing and gives me a beautiful "your skin but better" look that I really strive for in my makeup. It is perfect in that it gives me everything I am looking for in terms of the look of the foundation but it has very little staying power on me. I would love to find something I can pair with this to extend its longevity because it is stunning. However, it only lasts about 2-3 hours on my skin before it starts separating and coming off completely on my nose. I am quite busy during the day and don't have the ability to keep retouching my foundation. Such a bummer because it is perfect in every other way!

Produit merveilleux !

Cela faisait 10 ans que je cherchais un fond de teint qui convienne à ma peau... sans succès. J'ai la peau extrêmement déshydratée, fine et réactive, claire avec des rougeurs au niveau des joues et des cernes bleutées. Ma peau a un grain très fin, ce qui est joli - mais elle réagit à tout : émotions, froid, chaleur, soleil, vent, etc. Chaque fond de teint que j'ai testé jusqu'à présent s'est révêlé être une catastrophe : teint poudreux, platreux et terne, produit qui vire (car je suis contrainte de bien hydrater ma peau en dessous), petites peaux qui ressortent, menton qui pèle, inconfort (voire "gratouilles"), sensation de porter un masque, impression d'avoir 20 ans de plus... J'étais prête à cesser de porter du fond de teint, tellement ma peau était plus jolie "sans" qu'"avec" ! Mais tout ça, c'était AVANT de découvrir ce fond de teint Givenchy. Une marque à laquelle on ne pense jamais ; peut-être parce qu'elle ne pratique pas le matraquage publicitaire. Ce fond de teint est une merveille... ! Le teint est superbe (uniforme et naturel), la peau est glowy (mais juste ce qu'il faut), le produit tient des heures (en ce qui me concerne, 12 heures sans problème et sans poudrer !) et ne file pas dans les ridules (même sous les yeux, c'est nickel), la peau est très bien hydratée (un exploit, étant donné mes soucis de déshydratation !). En plus, j'ai enfin trouvé une teinte flatteuse pour ma peau claire : en général, les fonds de teint clairs sont blanchâtres et le rendu, affreux. Avec ce fond de teint là, on a l'impression d'une peau saine, en pleine santé. Il ne colle pas (ce qui était le cas de tous les fonds de teint au rendu glowy que j'ai essayé), il sent bon, il est facile à appliquer (au doigt ou au pinceau, dans mon cas). Je pourrais lui trouver encore d'autres qualités, mais si je devais dire encore une chose, c'est qu'il s'agit DU fond de teint à essayer quand on n'aime pas le fond de teint ou que l'on a une peau très déshydratée.

The best foundation ever

This is by far the best foundation I've ever used. I randomly tried this out when it was on sale because it advertised as skin care foundation with more skincare ingredients than makeup. After using it, I can testify that it does feel more like a skincare than makeup, it literally feels like a light moisturizer, for all day long! It keeps my face moisturized while giving the radiant, glowy finish, that I even receive compliments from strangers about how beautiful my skin looks. At the end of the day when I remove makeup, my skin doesn't feel tired or dry at all, as if I've been wearing skincare not foundation. Once you use this, you can never use other foundation because they would feel dry, cakey, powdery, and more like a makeup than this one. It may not stay covering as much as other foundation, but it's perfect for natural look, and not 'made up' face. The only con is it doesn't contain any sunscreen SPF but I don't need to rely on foundation for spf so that's fine. Please don't ever discontinue this product so I can use it forever.

This product appeared terribly streaky on my skin. I expected a my skin but better sort of coverage but the way it layed on the skin looked so weird and gross.

New fav foundation

My new favorite foundation. I am 55 with dry summer skin and this foundation is lovely. I have tried to apply with sponge, brush, and fingers. And just line the instructions recommended, fingers is the best way to apply. With this formula I don’t need concealer under my eyes. It’s glory and lightweight which I love since I love a natural makeup look. I myself like the fragrance. The only thing I don’t liked is the price.

solid option for glow foundation

got a sample of this and it works way better than the dior star glow. it gives coverage that isn't cake. it gives really pretty glow. ive had it on for 8 hours and the only thing is it has started to break up around my nose and my chin. but that's unavoidable for me. every foundation I've ever owned has done that. super impressed.

Good BUT oxidizes

I wanted to love it, since the finish was very glowy and natural looking. however, the foundation tends to oxidize as you wear it. I bought one of the lightest shades, and within about an hour, it turned more orange leaning

I wanted to love this so much. It had such a beautiful finish and would have been a hit if my skin didn’t have a reaction. I thought I broke out from it, but I had an allergic reaction and had pustules all over my face.

Break out

The second I put this foundation on I felt it burn my skin. From there it broke out unlike anything I’ve ever had. Sad cause the foundation is beautiful.
