best cleanser in the world

I know this is pricy as a cleanser, but it's worth every penny! I have used more that 5 tubes of this product, and I'm still gonna buy more. Wish more people could try this out, you won't be disappointed about the feel of your clean smooth soft skin! XD

Finally a foaming cleanser that isn't drying!

I hesitated over buying this for so long due to the price, but as I got older and my skin got drier I desperately needed a more moisturizing face wash. I finally bought this during Sephora's April sale of last year, and I love it! I don't like the squeaky-clean, tight feeling of most foaming cleansers I've tried, so if you're like me and you want clean-feeling but moisturized skin after washing your face, get this! It's very creamy and even the tiniest half-pea-size amount foams to a lovely, rich lather that feels incredibly luxurious after a long day. I use this at night and a lighter face wash in the morning, so it's been an entire year and I'm only halfway through the tube. I thought $55 for face wash was crazy before buying this, but given how little you need at a time, I think it's totally worth the price!

Doesn't dry my face.

The best cleanser for my skin

I have combination to super dry and super sensitive skin. Most of the cleansers I have used are too harsh on my skin, it either stings my skin or strips the moisture from my skin. My mom is a long time user of this brand, and she let me used hers when I ran out of my cleanser of the time. And WOW!!! it was gentle enough that I felt like it washed remaining makeup residues off my face, and my face did not feel dry afterwards. Little (pea size) goes a long way. I highly recommends it if you feel like splurging, but a good alternative is the cleaner from Shiseido's Ibuki selection.

True Luxury!

Balked a little at the price of this product, but after a few uses I was sold! You use so little of the product to get a nice, thick lather that it ends up lasting a lot longer than any other cleansing foam I've ever used. I prefer the smooth texture of this to the Benefiance cleanser and it is less drying than the Skincare cleansing foam. I heartily recommend it - just make sure to use a very, very small amount and you'll be happy!

Not Worth The Price

The cleanser is rich and it foams up very well. However, it is nothing special. Any other cleanser could have done the same job at a lower price. It is definitely not worth it.

Good, but not worth the price

I am a skincare fanatic and thought I'd splurge on this cleanser. I'm not convinced that this is any different from the other foaming cleansers in the line. It smells nice and clean, does the job, but nothing special. On a positive note, like all shisedo cleansers, it will last a long time since you don't need much to get a good foam going.

Best cleanser ever!

I never thought that one could justify paying that money for a cleanser but I have to say it's worth it. This is the most amazing cleanser I have ever used - it's so foamy and rich, like a quick face-mask every day. Plus a little goes a long way so this lasts you for weeks. Really recommend it.

Effects close to other Shiseido foaming cleansers

So far, at least. Only used it a couple of times, but used to use two of the other foaming cleansers and also tried White Lucent a few times but found it too drying. I guess it gets your skin pretty clean (I also use the Shiseido brush, which I love) but doesn't seem much less drying than other foaming cleansers. My skin seems to be dry easily from those types of cleansers in general, though, so if you have oily skin this might be for you. I did notice that my skin looked nice and bright right after using it, but I didn't feel that it had lasting effects. Only time will tell if it "freezes" your face as it looks now, for as long as you use it! I will say though that the foam is amazing if you use the brush. You can just keep foaming it up in your hand, use a little on your face, and use the rest to shave your legs with less than a pea size amount.
