Silkamino™ Mega-Moisturizing Shampoo

My only option, now!

I have been using this shampoo for about 3 months and I don't think I want to try any other brand. It cleans your scalp without stripping it of any oil, plus your hair doesn 't get heavy or oily the next day. Bonus, it smells like vanilla cake batter.

Did not work for me hair

Maybe I have the wrong hair type but it made my hair really heavy and greasy

Nothing Special

Nice vanilla scent, made my hair noticeably softer after I rinsed it out but no lasting effects once my hair dried.

FAVORITE SHAMPOO

I don't understand how at the time of writing this there was only 79 reviews. I would have thought more dry haired girlies would flock to this product with how well it works. I was lucky enough to get this last year while it was in stores and I LOVE LOVE it! I've seen complaints that it's hard to get out of the bottle?? idk what you people are doing wrong but I haven't had a single issue, even when it got low I just leave the bottle upside down. It lathers great and leaves my ringlet type curly hair super soft and is exactly what I had been looking for! I only have been shampooing my hair about once a week, or 2, to get my natural oils going because my hair gets pretty dry and even worse if I do any bleaching. My hair is the longest it's ever been in my life, and I'm not eggagerating!! I used to be an olaplex girl but this shampoo tops the charts for me. I wish I could get a comparison between this and the dae moisture monsoon shampoo as it's the only other one I've been considering (the deep conditioning mask by dae is works so well it's why I am curious about the shampoo) now that I need to get a new bottle just under a year later (the drunk elephant shampoo has lasted me quite awhile with how often I use it which I love too!). 10/10 would recommend this shampoo !

My new favorite shampoo

Love this shampoo. I have fine, wavy hair but a lot of it. It makes my hair soft, shiny and manageable. The natural light fragrance is pleasant and my hair really feels and smells clean but not stripped. The only downside is the packaging! It’s terrible. Hopefully that gets changed otherwise the product is 5 stars!

Made my hair sooo dry and straw like

Confused about all the 5 star reviews. I wanted to try something new and with all the good review I decided to try this product. This shampoo made my hair straw like and incredibly dry!

Hydrating Wash

This shampoo makes my hair feel hydrated, soft, and detangled without my hair feeling greasy. I can feel it really washing away all the products and making my hair clean. A little goes a long way. I wash my hair three times per week, usually washed two times in a row, and this bottle lasts me three months. The reason I’m giving it 4 stars is a do experience a lot of frizz, and I don’t think it’s helping with my damaged ends.

Terrible packaging

I am a huge fan of Drunk Elephant products. I was excited to try this shampoo. I like the shampoo very much, it has a light clean sent and lathers nicely. It leaves my hair feeling clean but not dry. However, I will not purchase again. PACKAGING TERRIBLE. I can hardly get the product out of the hard plastic bottle. Hopefully. they will change this .

Strange smell

Returning it without using it due to the smell. Had ordered it online.

The healthiest my hair has ever been!! Only need a small amount, heat up in your hands and then apply to wet hair , I’ve stopped losing hair 👌

i think i was sold an old bottle

the oil smelled stale and old. it was past the return date by the time i opened it to use it. when i opened it there was a strong odour of spoiled oil.
