Hydrating Gentle Foaming Cleanser

Good

This cleanser washes makeup off well and does not irritate my skin/eyes. The skin does however feel a bit “tight” after using it and you definitely need to follow up with a hydrating moisturizer. Overall good but not the best out there.

Skin feels clean and refreshed!

The Clarins hydrating gentle cleanser leaves my skin feeling clean and refreshed. The cleanser is creamy and light and then once you add water is when it foams. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated even before putting on moisturizer. It’s got a clean and pleasant scent as well. Would definitely recommend!

i liked this foaming cleaner it really made a difference in my face my face felt nice and smooth and like all the dirt was taken out. the scent wasn’t bad

Amazing daily cleanser

This is the perfect every day cleanser. It lathers nicely and leaves my skin nice and clean without drying it out.I have somewhat sensitive skin but I haven’t experienced any irritation with this

not for me

I used this cleanser for two weeks to see if there was a difference from using. The first thing you notice when using the product is the smell, which is like unappealing baby wipes. After applying, it has a slight burn that goes away after a few seconds, however, the unappealing smell does last. I also didn’t feel very clean after using; my skin felt stripped (which is strange considering that it’s marketed as a hydrating gentle cleanser) and itchy. The itchy and burning reaction may be a personal allergy for me, but the scent is not. I will not be using anymore.

So disappointed

I really thought that I bought a faulty product, but after coming here and reading all the recent reviews I am now even more disappointed. New formula is astonishingly awful - it doesn't hydrate, smells poorly, the consistency is unpleasant and it leaves the skin feeling dry, flaky and prone to rashes. It it one thing to change a formula of a beloved best selling product, but to forgo notifying your customers is another matter! It really is false advertising.

Great every day cleanser!

I received this product free in exchange for an honest review. Overall I really liked the results of this cleanser. It smells pretty good. It goes on fairly thick, it almost felt like putting on a cream mask, which I liked! After rinsing off it leaves your skin soft, smooth and tightened. I have pretty sensitive skin, and didn't break out from this product, so that's a win! Definitely recommend.

Not for me

Unfortunately the sample I received of this didn’t work for me. It left my skin feeling too stripped and dry. I have dry skin to begin with and was hopeful that this would be a good fit but it wasn’t. I also did not enjoy the smell of it.

Good cleanser

I’ve been using the Clarins Hydrating Gentle Foaming Cleanser for a few weeks now, and I'm really pleased with the results. This cleanser is super gentle and non-stripping, which is perfect for my sensitive skin. It foams up nicely and leaves my skin feeling clean and refreshed. The hydrating properties are definitely noticeable - my skin feels softer and more supple after use. I also appreciate that it's fragrance-free, which reduces the risk of irritation. Overall, however, I'd definitely recommend this cleanser to anyone with dry or sensitive skin. It's a great addition to any skincare routine!

Awful new formula - bring back the original please

Exceptionally frustrated that they have changed the formula for this - I have been using it for years (have been using Clarins for upwards of 30 years) and it no longer hydrates, it does exactly the opposite. It leaves my skin feeling tight and awfully dry. The smell is awful and the consistency is awful too. No notification that it was changing, rep didn't say it was changing, yet you sell it as the same thing, how, surely that's false adertising??
